12-12:30: lunch break + more wool prep

About Elita: Elita has been obsessed with wool for a long time but this was amplified when her son Nic bought a flock of Navajo Churro sheep (a breed known for their valuable wool growing abilities). She now has 30+ sheep in the flock and is on a mission to use the valuable resource of their wool in many different ways. She has grown to love wet felting over the years and has created a pletora of wearable, sustainable art including booties, bucket hats, beanies, pot holders, trinket bowls, rugs and purses.
About Sadie: Sadie is a life-long crafter and loves to make things with her hands. Born from a pair of homesteaders, Sadie loves learning resourceful skills and those close to the earth. Although her typical craft usually has to do with bees, her hands have been in wool in the recent years as there has been an abundance from the flock. Sadie is a fan of anything that brings craft and community together.
This class would be fun for:
Anyone who loves fiber or textile arts
Kids, teens and adults who like to make things with their hands
People who have sheep or access to wool and want to learn an accessible way to use it.
People who like functional art
